I Love You, Man

Okay, yes, it's hilarious. Paul Rudd (Role Models) and Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) star in a not-too-raunchy but light hearted comedy about a loner (besides having a fiancee) seeking a best man for his wedding. He finds this in someone who is almost opposite from his go-getting personality. He finds this in a grungy beach bum in LA.
With a cast of comedy veterans and newcomers such as Jamie Pressly (which you may know as

'Joy' from TVs My Name is Earl), ex SNL member Jane Curtin (which you may also know her from 3rd Rock from the Sun or Coneheads) and current SNL rising star Andy Samberg (I'm On a Boat; google it). We also find hilarity in Jon Favreau's (Four Christmases: a Movie that Makes Alex Bow His Head in Shame) performance as a freakin' a-hole who hates Paul Rudd, and finally J.K. Simmons (Juno) who seems macho enough, but may be a closet homosexual.
We find Peter (Rudd), a career driven man who is dedicated to his fiancee that is also desperate for a guy friend. He gains our sympathy but doesn't exploit it. I mean, he knows that he has to find friends so he's going to do it. Enter Sydney (Segel). Sydney is a beach bum living on some unknown living in a garage-like beach house. Peter now has a friend, and trust me, hilarity ensues. Yes, they both have things to teach each other to help their characters grow, and yes, I along with several audience members buy it, but there's something more humble in Rudd's and Segel's acting that takes us beyond the odd couple formula.
Go see it guys, and check out other hilarious movies they've been in such as Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, or 40 Year Old Virgin. I bet you can get them used from R5!!!
SORRY GUYS! I COULDN'T FIND RANDOM TRIVIA
FOR THIS ONE!
